Jamie received his Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Christian University (2009), and his Masters of Divinity from Brite Divinity School (2016). Jamie was ordained at his home church, Northway Christian Church, in May of 2018 by the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).

Once he graduated from Brite, Jamie was hired full-time at Northway as the Minister to Youth and Young Adults, where he continued with his youth ministry responsibilities, while also adding college and young professionals ministries to his portfolio.
Jamie accepted a call to serve as University Christian Church’s Minister to Youth and Families in November of 2017, and joined the staff at UCC in January of 2018. He is active in the Disciples camping program at Disciples Crossing in Athens, TX, serving as a director and counselor for various camps over the past 10 years. He is currently serving as the Chair for the Disciples Crossing New Beginnings capital campaign.
Jamie is married to Skylar, and together they have two beautiful sons, Cohen James and Nolan Michael.
